A Comprehensive-ish Guide to Halloween Events in Seattle


Time to get those Halloween plans sorted and I am HERE TO HELP YOU. We've got events for adults, kids, and the whole dang fam!

SemiahBOO Murder Mystery Event.If you live up north or are looking to get out of the city, Semiahmoo Resort might be a good alternative! They are hosting their SemiahBOO event on Oct. 28 from 7-10 p.m. The event will have interactive improvisational comedy, mystery, manifestations and mayhem! There will also be a local psychic who will be getting "messages from the beyond." Sounds scary! Tickets are $60 per person.

Halloween Party at the Smith Tower. Celebrate Halloween at the greatest speakeasy in town! A party that takes place over three nights, there will be performances from zombie flappers, mummies, and more! Come dressed in your best '20s gear. The party will happen on Friday, Oct. 27, Saturday, Oct. 28 and Tuesday, Oct. 31. Tickets are $40.

Sorrento Curious. Hotel Sorrento has been hosting events throughout the month to get people in the mood for the spooky holiday! Seattle Chocolate Haunted Factory Tour.Tour the Seattle Chocolate Factory - with a sinister twist! The tour will incorporate new "eerie" elements including mystical magic mirrors, haunting spirits, scary characters and ghoulish delights. The haunted tour will happen Thursday-Saturdays the last two weekends of October from 5-9 p.m. Find more information online!

Woodland Park Zoo Pumpkin Bash. Bring the kiddos to the zoo for a weekend-long pumpkin smashing. Watch hippos, grizzlies, penguins, and other animals as they eat, smash, and play with pumpkins! Kids can also trick-or-treat, look at pumpkin displays and enjoy other spooky activities. The Pumpkin Bash will happen on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Admission for adults is $15, children are $10, and toddlers are free!

Zip Scare at Bellevue Zip Tour. Looking for a little adrenaline rush? Head over to the Bellevue Zip Tour where you can experience one suspension bridge and three zip lines while you step off a platform and coast along in darkness. Tours start every 15 minutes between 6-7:45 p.m. every Friday and Saturday evening! Must be 9 years of age to zip.

Halloween on the Hill.This one-day Halloween festival will feature events like The Great Pumpkin Race and Jump, and Carnival on the Hill with games, food and entertainment. After the events, stick around to watch a scary movie on the big screen! The event starts at 10 a.m. and runs until 9 p.m.

Halloween Spooktacular at KidsQuest Children’s Museum.Bring the kiddos to KidQuest Children's Museum on Monday, October 30. Kids can conduct science experiments in the spooky lab, create eerie art, and explore dry ice bubbles! The event starts at 5 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m. Kids of all ages allowed!
