I was born in London to my mother who was an In-flight Stewardess. My early interests were with the nature and plants, especially the dicots, until my interests changed towards movie-making. My initial short films were shot on my father’s Super-8 Camera using my set of toys. I completed my English literature from University College London where I got an opportunity to shoot several short films for my college film society. Often the screenplays for my movies have been adapted from my brother’s works. The cult classic movie that I made in 2000 was well acclaimed world over and was later remade into Tamil (2005) and Hindi (2008), both proving to be blockbuster success.
