The purpose of this survey is to gain insight into the tools that young professionals (YPs) used to get on a board of an association or non-profit.
A young professional is loosely defined as someone between the ages of 25-35 OR someone with less than 5 years of non-profit or association experience OR someone who classifies themselves as a young professional.
This information is also important to help executives understand the benefits of having a young professional on their board(s).
Addition benefits: Survey will help both parties learn how to get a YP on a board, learn how to recruit YPs, learn what YPs can add to a board, give YPs a goal to strive towards, give YPs a toolkit based upon the success/failure of others in securing a position on a Board of Directors, tell YPs why they should be on a board, give YPS a guide on how to do it and what positive impact they may have.
