As we continue to strive to enhance new features and capabilities of both the DMS-500 network audio player and AiOS all-in-one-system, we have some exciting news.
DMS-500 & AiOS
We are pleased to announce a new update is available that includes vTuner. vTuner is the best in-class internet radio service that includes thousands of radio stations from around the world in many languages. vTuner includes both well known local, national and international terrestrial radio stations as well as internet based radio stations in all genres of music, talk, podcasts, news, and more. It’s also free to use! These stations are broadcast in MP3 or AAC up to 320kbps. Please note, you must also update your Android app which is now available in the Google Play Store. The Apple iOS app will be available shortly.
DMS-500 ONLY
As you may already know, a few weeks ago TIDAL announced that MQA Masters are available to TIDAL HiFi subscribers. This ability was only available on TIDAL’s desktop app requiring the creation of a playlist to access them on the DMS-500. Working with TIDAL, we have now included a TIDAL Masters category into the DMS-500 user interface and both the latest Android and Apple iOS apps. This makes accessing MQA Masters a much easier process and allows you to bypass the TIDAL desktop app. We are continuing to add to the TIDAL API for even further enhanced features. As new features become available we will release further updates. The Android app is now available in the Google Play Store and the Apple iOS app will be available shortly.
HOW TO UPDATE
To update the DMS-500 or AiOS, you may see a message shortly after turn on. If not, go to the MENU>FIRMWARE (System Update for AiOS)>CHECK FOR UPDATE.
