On October 7th, producer extraordinaire Flying Lotus returns with his highly-anticipated new album, You’re Dead!, via Warp Records. The whopping 19-track effort follows 2012’s Until the Quiet Comes, and is previewed today with “Coronus, The Terminator”.
While FlyLo and Kendrick Lamar tore it up on their edgy, hard-hitting collaboration “Never Catch Me”, this new album cut opts for a more mellowed out, psychedelic vibe. Here, not only does the producer flaunt his deftness in conjuring a sonic world all his own, but his vocals, potent and eerie, are especially captivating when front and center.
