How To Create a Capture Page and Host It Online Using All Free Tools and Software.

Today’s Lesson is where the real magic happens along with a lot of fun! Frankly, I would have given ANYTHING for someone to show me how to do this when I was starting out. It took many months to figure this out and now YOU can skip through the time consuming learning process in a matter of minutes. I’ve listed the Free tools and software below on how to create your and customize your capture page, how to get it on-line and have it hosted on your own independent server. I’ve also created a template for you to use … You really have it easy!  :)

Remember – Be sure to offer plenty of value on your page. Do you have a USP (Unique Selling Proposition)? What about an offer? Give people an immediate reason to opt-in to your page so you can build your list. You should be discussing more than just your company and how it’s the next best thing. Branding is very important when it comes to your capture page. This is 80% about what you offer, and 20% about your company’s product or compensation plan. In most cases… As a matter of fact, I would not even mention your company’s name. That’s right, don’t give everything away here. Just give people a REALLY Good reason to get more information about what you are doing and what it can do for them. Find Their Problem and Offer A Solution

To Properly Set Up Your Own Capture Page That Is Hosted On Your Own Server, Take The Following Actions:

1.) Download your Kompozer (Easy Web Site Builder) – See the video above for complete instructions:

Note: When you open your software for the first time, click on “Tools” > “Options” and make sure ‘Save images and other associated files when saving pages’ box is checked

2.) Then, Download Your Capture Page Files

3.) If you haven’t already, be sure to have your Domain Name and a Hosting Account set up, Simply Click on the Images below:

.4.) Make sure you have your Get Response or AWeber or  account ready to add your autoresponder to your capture page:

5.) Locate the original Hostgator e-mail you received from when signing up for your account. You’ll need to input your IP Address, Password and Username into FileZilla.
