'Hand salad' recipe sparks massive debate on social media
On Monday, food magazine Bon Appétit shared a recipe for something it's calling "hand salad." Like all revolutionary ideas, it has drummed up quite a bit of debate.

Hand salad is simple. Dip sturdy lettuce leaves in salad dressing, and enjoy.
"We call this a hand salad because lettuce and dip just doesn't sound like nearly as much fun," the recipe says.
Immediately, people started making fun of the concept. But hey! People probably laughed at the person who first thought it was a good idea to eat a bowl of leaves with a fork, too.
Some think hand salad is a sad attempt to jazz up the chore of healthy eating, but the more optimistic noticed it's just a more convenient way to consume ranch dressing.
