It has been another successful year for our annual charity appeal - #AccessCharityXmas. With Christmas around the corner, our Christmas charity campaign has ended on a high, and all of us at Access are, once again, incredibly grateful for your generosity and support throughout this year’s appeal.

Our annual Christmas charity appeal aims to collect as many donations as possible for charities across the UK. This year, as usual, we were blown away by the response from our customers, generous locals and businesses, with hundreds of gifts collected for those in need at Christmas.

This year, Access Self Storage Birmingham Central collected an incredible 12,000 toys for Kids Out – breaking our record for the most donations ever to our Christmas appeal. Thanks to the local businesses for all the wonderful contributions.

People with Christmas donations

Donations from around the nation were impressive – our Access Self Storage Birmingham Selly Oak store even collected a whopping 500 children’s toys for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charity.

A huge 200 brand new toys and board games were collected by Access Self Storage Reading for Royal Berkshire Hospital. A special thank you to Georgina Smith from AEL Outdoor Solutions for the generous contribution of toys.

Over at Access Self Storage Stevenage, 150 donations were received for Stevenage Haven, which is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness.

And 100 brand new toys were collected by the Access Self Storage Manchester team for the Children’s Adventure Farm. Comedian John Bishop even made a surprise appearance!

Meanwhile at Access Self Storage Romford, 100 brand new toys were collected for First Step, a charity which helps children with disabilities and special needs.

At Access Self Storage Nottingham, 70 donations were collected and have now been delivered to the Rainbow Children’s Hospice
