Titans running back Eddie George celebrates after defeating the Jaguars 27-13 on Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Adelphia Coliseum.

The Titans have a 10-6 record on “Monday Night Football” since the franchise relocated to Nashville in 1998.

The span includes three victories in 2000, the season after they reached the Super Bowl, and a four-game winning streak that was snapped in their most recent appearance, a 27-24 loss to the Steelers on Nov. 17, 2014, in Nashville. The Titans (2-3) return to the primetime event on Monday (7:30 p.m., ESPN) to face the Colts (2-3) at Nissan Stadium.

Here are five of the Titans’ most memorable appearances in the NFL’s marquee game:

Titans 27, Jaguars 13

Oct. 16, 2000

At Nashville

On this date 17 years ago, the Titans hosted their first game on “Monday Night Football” since relocating to Nashville and reaching the Super Bowl the previous season. Steve McNair threw touchdown passes to Frank Wycheck and Derrick Mason; Eddie George ran for a score; and Al Del Greco booted a pair of field goals for the Titans’ first of three victories on "Monday Night Football" that season.

Titans 48, Packers 27

Oct. 11, 2004

At Green Bay

The Titans erupted for the most points the Packers ever had allowed at Lambeau Field, a record that still stands, scoring on five of their first six possessions and cruising to victory. McNair, who had missed the previous game, tossed two touchdown passes, and Chris Brown rushed for 148 yards and two scores. Packers quarterback Brett Favre was intercepted three times.

Titans 31, Colts 21

Oct. 27, 2008

At Nashville

The Titans scored 17 consecutive points in the fourth quarter to break open a tie score and improve their record to 7-0. LenDale White rushed for two short touchdowns; Chris Johnson added another score; and Rob Bironas kicked three field goals. Colts quarterback Peyton Manning plunged into the end zone for a 1-yard rushing touchdown with just over a minute to play, but Michael Griffin recovered the ensuing onside kick to seal the victory. The Colts have since won 16 of 17 games against the Titans, including 11 in a row, tied for the NFL's longest active winning streak by a team against a single opponent.

Titans 20, Texans 17

Nov. 23, 2009

At Houston

Bironas booted the game-winning 53-yard field goal with 47 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, giving the Titans their fourth straight victory after opening the season with six consecutive losses. Johnson rushed for 151 yards; Vince Young rushed for 73 and threw a touchdown to Kenny Britt; and Bironas connected on two field goals from 50-plus yards in the second half. Texans kicker Kris Brown pushed a 49-yard field-goal attempt wide left with 1 second left.

Steelers 27, Titans 24

Nov. 17, 2014

At Nashville

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger rallied the Steelers with 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to defeat the Titans in the most recent Monday night matchup in Nashville and coldest game in Nissan Stadium history (25 degrees at kickoff). Le’Veon Bell ran for 204 yards and Roethlisberger threw the game-winning touchdown to Antonio Brown with nine minutes to play. William Gay also returned a Zach Mettenberger interception for a touchdown as the Titans fell to 2-8 in Ken Whisenhunt’s first season as head coach.
