The information quality on Web 2.0

Statement of Consent

Hi, you're invited  to participate in a survey carried out at Information Science School of Federal University of Minas Gerais  which aims to understand people's participation and language in the validation of information contents  compared to changes caused by Web 2.0 in the production and use of information and knowledge.

Through a semiotic approach, this study turns to the tools that enable users to tagging contents that are stored on personal collections and shared through the performance of people in several social networks.

We believe that the performance of people and the dynamics of language are features evident in services like Delicious, Flickr, Digg, Youtube, StumbleUpon and Diigo and are necessary elements to reflect about the quality of information on the Web today.

So, you’ll answer a few questions about your experience and performance in a social bookmarking tool. Please be advised that these issues don’t produce any kind of coercion and any harm to participants. The data will be analyzed like a significant part of this research that will be published after conclusion. However, we guarantee that participants won’t be identified, and their identity kept in absolute secrecy. We appreciate their willingness to participate and get involved!
