Thunderbirds creator tells of new series as stamps unveiled

To celebrate five decades of work by iconic Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson, Royal Mail's first stamp issue of 2011 is a new set of special custom designed motion stamps.

The series is titled FAB: The Genius of Gerry Anderson and features Stingray, Captain Scarlet and other colourful nods to Anderson's puppetry.

Speaking to the BBC's Clive Myrie, Anderson said he was 'humbled' when the Royal Mail approached him and revealed he would be making a new series of the show.
