Detroit real estate is a really good investment, say people selling Detroit real estate

A new report from the University of Michigan Urban Land Institute and PricewaterhouseCoopers says Detroit is the nation’s least attractive market to invest in commercial and multi-family real estate or for-sale homebuilding.

While some people may see these platitudes and conclude Detroit could benefit from fewer earnest panel discussions, the reality is we need more of these talks. Ideally, a perpetual panel discussion to keep the local Tony Robbins aficionados busy while Detroit’s reality-based community is working to correct the metro area’s half-century of structural failings.

That way, all that real estate will be eventually worth something.
