US Actor Danny Glover Meets with The Five in Cuba ( photos) : Escambray: This Friday, the star of the film The Color Purple personally knew Fernando Gonzalez and Ramon Laba�ino, and some of the relatives of the Cuban heroes imprisoned in the United States on September 12, 1998.

When I joined the Committee for the Liberation of the Five, and saw how these men were aware of their responsibility to humanity, I saw in them the bridge to the world of justice and equality that we want to build, said Glover.

In statements to the press at Jose Marti International Airport, he remembered that recently, while filming scenes of a movie in Spain, he met people who were familiar with the cause of the Cuban revolutionaries; experiences also lived in other countries.
