Celebrate the Season With Colorful Visions of Fall
Houzz readers share what autumn looks like in the United States and beyond
December is around the corner, and already the harbingers of winter have descended upon parts of the U.S. Before we leave November behind, let’s take a moment to acknowledge the masterpieces created every year during fall, captured in the more than 400 photos uploaded by Houzzers from around the country and beyond. Here are some of our favorites.
Babsintn caught brilliant umbers, golds and rusts painting an autumnal backdrop behind a barn in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The trees of Mill Run, Pennsylvania, frame Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater in golds and greens, as captured by Belle Chaise while visiting the famed house.

Slbarnes11 uploaded a quiet scene of two Adirondack chairs in Greenwich, Connecticut.

In Linda Emslie’s photo of the Beamsville Bench of Ontario, Canada, the grapevines of a vineyard are changing with the season.

Northern Nevada is changing colors, as illustrated by chrischeney.
Photographer Robert Spanjaard showed us fall at Ninglinspo Creek, in northeastern Belgium. “This time I got lucky with a beautiful orange and brown landscape, soft light and just a hint of mist to add depth to the background.”

Fallen leaves blanket the ground in Clinton, Connecticut, with Long Island Sound just at the end of this walk. “Clinton is a beautiful seaside town that’s just as beautiful in fall as it is in summer,” ellenpozsar says.

Just outside janis horn’s kitchen window in Litchfield, Maine, a Japanese maple’s crimson leaves glow in the fall light.
