My son Parker was born last Sunday, and while I've been hanging out holding a sleeping baby on my chest, I've taken the opportunity to have some yarn in my hands. I came up with this very basic baby beanie with stripes of a coordinating color worked through the bottom. This hat pattern is quick, easy, and doesn't use much yarn at all.

Materials:
Size H crochet hook
Knit Picks Shine worsted weight yarn, 2 colors

Oh thank goodness, maternity leave begins now. I'm so worn out. Just 2 more weeks to my estimated due date, so any time in the next month!

I'm watching scary movies, cuddling with my friend's black cat, and eating candy. Seems like a good way to spend Halloween to me!

Dream Theater? Friggin amazing. Absolutely loved em. Had a great spot at the Warfield with an awesome view. Nice weather in SF tonight too.
Trivium was awesome as always! Now just waiting for Dream Theater to start :)
Haha, 6 months pregnant at a metal show? This baby's gonna require a double kick bass drum to go to sleep.

Luau for my bro & his fiancee's bachelor party. Glad my Hawaiian dress still fits, bump & all. Can't wait for the surprise entertainment!
