Manchester City recovered from a Joe Hart error to edge past Norwich City 2-1 .

Norwich went into the game on a miserable run of form that had seen them lose three Premier League games in succession, with their last win coming against Bournemouth on Sept. 12.

However, they held their own against the title favourites during the first half, with Matt Jarvis bringing a good save from City keeper Hart, while Norwich No. 1 John Ruddy was kept busy at the other end.

City eventually made the breakthrough on 67 minutes with a superb Nicolas Otamendi header from a Kevin De Bruyne cross, but the Canaries levelled on 83 minutes when Hart dropped the ball on his line and allowed Cameron Jerome to score.

City were back in front soon afterwards though as Russell Martin was shown a red card after conceding a penalty for handball, with Yaya Toure firing home from the spot to secure the win on 89 minutes.

Raheem Sterling was then tripped in injury time to earn a further spot kick, but Aleksandar Kolarov failed to convert.

Leicester City came from behind to beat West Bromwich Albion 3-2 at The Hawthorns.

Salomon Rondon put West Brom ahead after half an hour, heading home from a Stephane Sessegnon corner, but Riyad Mahrez produced a superb finish to level on 58 minutes.

Mahrez then turned home a Marc Albrighton cross at the far post to make it 2-1, and Jamie Vardy scored in his eighth consecutive game to make it 3-1 on 77 minutes.

Rickie Lambert reduced the arrears from the penalty spot after a foul on Callum McManaman, but the Foxes held on for victory.

Nigeria international Odion Ighalo broke the deadlock six minutes before the break when he was presented with a simple finish after Nathan Ake had robbed Andy Carroll in the West Ham area.

Ighalo grabbed his second of the game soon after the restart when an Ikechi Anya cross fell in his path, and a miserable afternoon for the Hammers was completed when James Tomkins was shown a late red card.
