Guelph Police say they’ve laid charges against another Uber driver – and not just for participating in ridesharing.

Early Saturday morning, police say, an officer noticed a vehicle driving past a road closure sign, then stopping at the intersection of Macdonnell and Wyndham streets.

Once the driver stopped, the officer saw a man get into the back seat of the vehicle.

A 48-year-old Toronto man faces charges of picking up a passenger for compensation and disobeying a traffic sign.
