Shakespeare group begins reading “Measure for Measure”

LUDINGTON — The Shakespeare Reading Group begins its reading of “Measure for Measure” when it meets Thursday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts.

The interactive Shakespeare Reading Group is open to all who have a “Love of Shakespeare.” The group meets once a month for about two hours to read from the works of The Bard. SRG participants read the script for the different characters and an informal discussion is held at the end of each scene.

Participants are asked to bring their own copy of Shakespeare’s works and to contribute $3 toward facility usage ($2 for LACA members). The Ludington Area Center for the Arts is at 107 S. Harrison St. For more information, call the arts center at 231-845-2787; open 12-5pm Thursday–Saturday.
