79th District Court arraignments include safe breaking, home invasion, assault with a dangerous weapon

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

Espinola

– Trenton Joseph Espinola, 19, of 222 E. Melendy St., was arrested, Sept. 25, by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for felonies of safe breaking and second-degree home invasion following his arrest, Sept. 24, for a felony of assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and a misdemeanor of prowling/trespassing. Probable cause hearing: Oct. 7 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $50,000/cash/surety. See related story. 

Bogvad

– Dale Alfred Bogvad, 61, of 6143 E. First St., Walhalla, was arrested Sept. 25 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a felony of assault with a dangerous weapon. Probable cause hearing: Oct. 7 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Owen

– Dalton Kade Owen, 20, of 9149 Manales Rd., Branch, was arrested Sept. 25 by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police (MSP) for a felony of interfering with electronic communications and a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Probable cause hearing: Oct. 14 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

Gillespie

– Eric Lee Gillespie, 49, no address listed, was arrested Sept. 24 by MCSO for a felony of third-offense domestic violence. Probable cause hearing: Oct. 7 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $3,500/personal.

Erzen

– Robert Lee Erzen, 34, homeless, Ludington, was arrested Sept. 25 by MCSO for a felony of failure to register as a sex offender.Probable cause hearing: Oct. 7. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

Misdemeanors

– Angel Leigh Madsen, 25, of 1310 S. Madison Ave., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 27 by LPD for a misdemeanor of operating while intoxicated. Pretrial: Oct. 19 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Richard Kenneth Ferris, 51, of 212 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington, was cited Sept. 23 by LPD for a misdemeanor of driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. Bail: $1,500/personal.

– Mykel Dalton Horsley, 25, of 503 N. William St., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 24 by LPD for a misdemeanor of second-offense domestic violence. Pretrial: Oct. 19 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Levi James Sprague, 17, of 77 Nelson Rd., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 22 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: Oct. 12 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Dawn Louise Olson, 47, of 503 N. Washington Ave., Apt. 2, Ludington, was arrested Sept. 19 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) for a misdemeanor of possession of marijuana. Pretrial: Oct. 19 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Joseph Paul Englert, 47, of 509 E. Tinkham Ave., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 19 by LPD for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Pretrial: Oct. 12 at 3:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Kip Ivran McCray, 43, of 6916 Illinois Rd., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 18 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of domestic violence. Pretrial: Oct. 12 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Melisa Ann Richards, 41, of 104 E. Whittier, Ludington, was arrested Sept. 21 by LPD for a misdemeanor of defrauding a boarding house. Pretrial: Oct. 5 at 3:15 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Kristen Jayne Parker, 33, of 612 N. Lakeshore Dr., Apt. 38, Ludington, was arrested Sept. 22 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Benjamin Lloyd Parker, 32, of 612 N. Lakeshore Dr., Apt. 38, Ludington, was arrested Sept. 23 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. Pretrial: Oct. 5 at 3:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
