Manchester City team news: David Silva in, Yaya Toure out – Manuel Pellegrini’s predicted line up v Newcastle

Manchester City have hit poor form in the Premier League, with neighbours Manchester United having capitalised on the Citizens’ back-to-back defeats to West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur by taking their place at the top of the table.

Nonetheless, having quickly bounced back in securing their first crucial win in the Champions League mid-week against Borussia Monchengladbach, the City camp's mood should have been lifted.

Particularly as David Silva and Pablo Zabaleta also marked their return to action. 

However, Yaya Toure may sit out the Newcastle clash having been taken off at half time, joining Vincent Kompany on the sidelines.

As such, there could be some notable changes to Manuel Pellegrini's side.
