The Dead Weather share performance video for “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)” — watch

The Dead Weather announced a few days ago that their first live performance in five years would take place on the September 14th episode of Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Today, they’ve given fans an early glimpse at what that show may be like by sharing a performance clip for their new single “I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)”.

While the Colbert appearance certainly still counts as their first real gig since they announced their new album, Dodge and Burnthe video serves as a reminder of just how electrifying Jack White, Alison Mosshart, Dean Fertita, and L’il Jack Lawrence are when they play together. With White behind the drums and Mosshart behind her bleached blonde mane and vintage mic, The Dead Weather tear into “I Feel Love” surrounded by a bunch of body-suited mannequins.

    Watch the video below.

Sure, Jack White may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but the clip stokes the fires of anticipation for Dodge and Burn‘s September 25th release. Find the tracklist below.
