Vidal Deal Back On Track

Vidal Deal Back On Track

Juventus look ready to part ways with Vidal who has a £32 million release clause strapped to his back. According to Squawka, the Chilean who impressed during the Copa America has been given permission to leave despite being one of the best at what he does. With an amazing 85% accuracy rate when it comes to his passing, Vidal is surely going to find a team soon. Will that team be Arsenal though?

It is hard to tell what Wenger has planned. The way things are going it seems that he is not looking to sign any other important player and will stick to the same tactics as before. During the past years he signed one big name each summer transfer window which means this summer there will be no more surprises. Cech is indeed a big name and his arrival might be the only bank breaking move of the season for Arsenal.

The fact that Arsenal extended Arteta’s contract and that Flamini seems to be staying around until 2016 when his deal expires also points to a quiet summer at the Emirates. It would be a pity to miss out on Vidal because these kind of opportunities don’t come along very often. If Wenger is expecting to stand pat until next year when Arteta and Flamini will leave, and only then spend big, there is a chance he might not have such a midfielder to bid on.
