Showing a 4.5 on my earthquake gadget! Pretty rare for Maine isn't it?

Holy lack of detail...

Looks like it was a 4.5...in Cali, that's barley a consideration; but for Maine - that must have scared the # out of few Bostonians.

I also felt it as far down south as Providence, RI.

USGS has it as a 4.5 at a depth of 27km

Yes, also just heard Main had 4 small ones this past sunday. My dogs are here acting normal, so hopefully thats a good sign. My house shook as if someone was jumping up and down on my bed. Cousin said things hanging from his ceiling fell off. it was more of a band type shake and not so much as a swaying rumble

Yeah it shook our newly built building, Here in Saco/Biddo area. My dad also said he felt the quake in Manchester NH. Really weird we were about to watch all the 2012 bizarre things that are going on, on youtube lol. Then the house shook. Everyone was outside, I said it was at least a 5. But 4.5 would of been about right.

My first quake.

I can't wait to move north. # scares me, Especially if it was out at sea....We're pretty close.

It's trending all over twitter now. The epicentre was in Maine, and tremors were felt in various parts of the New England area. Apparently, reports suggest that the tremors lasted 20-30 seconds.

Weird, I didn't feel it in Boston but my brother (also in Boston about 10-15 miles away) felt it pretty strong.

Sorry could not resist, thanks for no offense and that was great comment back! Seriously hope nobody hurt and little damage. I know stuff up that way is not built for any seismic activity.

Whole house shook here in Medford MA around 7:14. Must have been more than 20 years since I'd felt one like that in the northeast! Good times!

Is there anywhere you can check current radiation level other than radiationnetwork.com...

That hasn't been updated since 4:51pm today. I'd like to know the current radiation since our cell phones aren't working.

-Edit nvm I'm a bone head it was updated.

However why are the phones out >
