 Currently Sri Lanka is in economic crisis. The Prime Minister and President of Sri Lanka fled the country due to this economic crisis.


Seeing this, many expatriate YouTubers of Bangladesh have indulged in propaganda against Bangladesh comparing Bangladesh with Sri Lanka with excessive enthusiasm.


 Bangladesh is not likely to be like Sri Lanka. This is because Bangladesh has more mineral resources than Sri Lanka, especially gas and coal.


Yes, it is true that Bangladesh does not have mineral resources reserves like Europe, America and Middle East countries. But Bangladesh has more than Sri Lanka.

বর্তমানে শ্রীলংকা অর্থনৈতিক সংকটে আছে। এই অর্থনৈতিক সংকটের কারণে শ্রীলংকার প্রধানমন্ত্রী ও রাষ্ট্রপতি দেশ থেকে পালিয়ে গিয়েছেন।


এটা দেখে বাংলাদেশের অনেক প্রবাসী ইউটিউবার মাত্রাতিরিক্ত উৎসাহ নিয়ে বাংলাদেশকে শ্রীলংকার সঙ্গে তুলনা করে বাংলাদেশের বিরুদ্ধে অপপ্রচারে লিপ্ত হয়েছেন।


শ্রীলংকার মতো বাংলাদেশের অবস্থা হওয়ার তেমন সম্ভাবনা নাই। এ কারণে যে, শ্রীলংকার চেয়ে বাংলাদেশের খনিজ সম্পদ বেশি আছে বিশেষ করে গ্যাস ও কয়লা।


হ্যাঁ এটা সত্য যে ইউরোপ, আমেরিকা ও মধ্যপ্রাচ্যের দেশসমূহের মতো খনিজ সম্পদের রিজার্ভ বাংলাদেশের নাই। কিন্তু শ্রীলংকার তুলনায় অনেক বেশি আছে।


এবং শ্রীলংকার এই অবস্থা হয়ে গিয়েছে অনেক আগেই ঋণের মাধ্যমে জর্জরিত হওয়ার কারণে।


 শ্রীলংকার না আছে বাংলাদেশের মতো খনিজ সম্পদের রিজার্ভ আর না আছে বাংলাদেশের মতো রেমিটেন্সের মত বিপুল আয়।


এবং বাংলাদেশের মতো শ্রীলংকার শিল্প প্রতিষ্ঠানও নাই।


সাধারণ মানুষ তো শ্রীলংকাকে চেনে ক্রিকেটের বিশ্বচ্যাম্পিয়ন হিসেবে। হ্যাঁ শ্রীলংকা ক্রিকেটে বিশ্বচ্যাম্পিয়ন। কিন্তু অর্থনৈতিক এবং খনিজ সম্পদে চ্যাম্পিয়ন তো দূরের কথা রানার্সআপও না।


তাই যে সকল ইউটিউবাররা বিদেশে অবস্থান করে বাংলাদেশকে শ্রীলংকার সঙ্গে তুলনা করে অপপ্রচারে লিপ্ত হয়েছেন। তিনিদের উচিৎ কিছুটা হলেও নিজেকে সামলে এ ধরনের আবল-তাবল ভিডিও আপলোড করে মানুষকে বিভ্রান্ত করা থেকে বিরত থাকা।©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
