Nioh 2 Celebrates Remaster Release with Two New Armor Sets

Playstation has announced that they are celebrating the release of Nioh 2 Remastered by releasing two limited time only sets.

Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition is releasing on February 5th as a standalone title, or as part of The Nioh Collection. That also means current Nioh 2 owners have something to celebrate too, as they will be receiving two limited time only sets with the upcoming patch, which are the Ornate Gold Armor and Sohaya Deserter Garb.

The Ornate Gold Armor set and the Sohaya Deserter Garb will be available from February 5th – 26th only, so Nioh 2 owners should grab them while they’re available. The remaster versions were announced in November last year, where they also announced the terms for free upgrades for PS4 users, details follow.

Those who purchase the Nioh 2 Complete Edition on PS4 will also be able to upgrade to the PS5 remaster for free, if they choose to later upgrade to PS5. Those who already own the Nioh 2 base game on PS4 can also upgrade to the remastered PS5 version, but this will not include the DLC.

The Nioh Collection for PS5 is available for $69.99 and includes both Nioh and Nioh 2 Remastered editions which contains the Nioh Remastered version and Nioh 2 Remastered. Nioh 2 Remastered as well as the Nioh 2 DLC expansions for PS5 are not available for individual purchase. For PS4 and PC players, Nioh 2: The Complete Edition will be available for pre-order $49.99, which will include the base game and three DLC expansions, The Tengu’s DiscipleDarkness in the Capital and The First Samurai.

The Nioh 2 remaster on PS5 will support 4K resolution, and up to 120 FPS gameplay. For PC, Nioh 2 will support 4K Ultra-HD and ultra-widescreen resolutions, as well as HDR and 144 Hz monitors, with a frame rate of up 120 FPS. This version will support mouse and keyboard custom mapping, as well as gamepads.
