Through its Wavemaster label, Sega is releasing an impressive three-disc collection of old music. This collection, out August 16, includes music from games released for Sega’s System 16 arcade board, including Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars (a game which I am alone in the world in liking), Alien Syndrome, and Fantasy Zone, as well as stuff like Action Fighter and Sega Baseball League.
I couldn’t find a good gameplay clip of the arcade Action Fighter, but here’s the Master System version, to give you an idea of the music:
So annoying!
