UPDATE: FEBRUARY 11, 2022 - If you selected "Pick-Up" during registration, you may pick up your child's Tru Comeback Pack beginning Saturday, February 12, 2022, after 4:00 PM at The Big Free Bookstore inside Military Circle Mall. Hours for pick up after February 12 are Monday - Saturday 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Arrive at least 30 minutes before closing. Pick up before March 11, 2022. The Big Free Bookstore is located inside Military Circle Mall on the left next to DTLR and across from EZ Work Boxing studio.

If you chose "Delivery," we will email and text you before a delivery is made. Delivery begins Monday, February 14, and ends March 11, 2022. You will receive an email and or text message about your delivery.

UPDATE: Complete registration for each child who is a student grade PK - 12 in Norfolk. Limit three (3) children and one adult per address (household). Each registration must be completed by an adult 18 or older for students who attend school in Norfolk. 

Tru Comeback kicks off Attendance Awareness for students in Norfolk. Register your child(ren) today and receive an electronic gift card. Provide your contact information to pick up or have a Tru Comeback Pack delivered at no cost to you. Gift cards and Tru Comeback Packs are only available to the first 500 registrants. No purchase is necessary. Please allow 7 - 10 business days to receive your gift card.

What is Tru Comeback? Tru Comeback is the kick-off campaign for Attendance Awareness for students attending school in Norfolk, Virginia. The initiative connects students and their families with community resources and access to learning tools, school supplies, clothing items, and more. The first 500 registered students receive an electronic gift card and a Tru Comeback Pack.

When is Tru Comeback? Attendance Awareness begins Saturday, February 12, 2022. Select the pickup or delivery option during registration. Registering means that you receive a gift card pending verification of your student and that you are able to pick up or receive a Tru Comeback Pack on behalf of your child.

Where is Tru Comeback? All in-person event activities have been postponed. After registering, and within 7- 10 business days, your gift card and details are shared with you via the email address and phone number you provide for pick up or delivery.

Who is eligible? All students PK - 12 attending school in Norfolk may be registered by a parent or guardian 18 years or older. Volunteers, businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations may visit www.trucomeback.com/getinvolved to apply to participate. For registration questions, email support@trucomeback.com.

Why is this happening? As a community, we want to bring awareness to the connection between school attendance and academic achievement.
