79th District Court arraignments include 7 SSCENT arrests

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned recently in front of the 79th District Court Magistrate:

Felonies

– Kenneth Edward Field, 23, of 6735 Virnetta Dr., Ludington, was arrested May 20 by the State, Sheriffs’, Chiefs’ Enforcement Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for felonies of operating/maintaining a laboratory involving methamphetamine and ephedrine/pseudoephedrine – purchase to make meth; and a misdemeanor of possession of marijuana. Probable cause hearing: June 3 at 6 p.m. Bail: $15,000/cash/surety.

– Jacqueline Kay Towers, 63, of 3763 E. Sugar Grove Rd. Custer, was arrested May 20 by SSCENT for three felony counts of ephedrine/pseudoephedrine – purchase to make meth. Probable cause hearing: June 3 at 6 p.m. Bail: $15,000/10 percent.

– Herbert Jason Golnick III, 34, of 1089 Lance Lane, Apt. 30, Ludington, was arrested May 21 by SSCENT for felonies of witness – bribing/intimidating and using computers to commit a crime. Bail $15,000/cash/surety. In a separate file, Golnick was arrested May 19 by SSCENT for a felony of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture of marijuana. Bail: $3,500/10 percent. Probable cause hearing (both files): June 3 at 1:15 p.m.

– Dustin Allen Collene, 34, of 106 E. Melendy St., Ludington, was arrested by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of first-degree home invasion and a misdemeanor of possession of marijuana. Probable cause hearing: June 3 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

– Shayne Michael Neve, 18, of 306 E. Second St., Ludington, was arrested May 21 by LPD for two felony counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct (CSC) and a misdemeanor of furnishing alcohol to minor. Probable cause hearing: June 3 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $10,000/personal.

– Nathan Sean Garn, 25, of 332 S. Meyers Rd., Ludington, was arrested May 20 by SSCENT for a felony of controlled substance – delivery of marijuana; a misdemeanor of controlled substance – possession of marijuana; habitual offender, second offense notice. Probable cause hearing: June 3 at 3 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

– Justin Michael Stever, 24, of 332 S. Meyers Rd., Ludington, was arrested May 20 by SSCENT for a felony of controlled substance – delivery of marijuana; and habitual offender, second offense notice. Probable cause hearing: June 3 at 1:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

– Lee Daniel Rasmussen, 44, of 104 Adams St., Ludington, was arrested May 23 by LPD for a misdemeanor of second-offense domestic violence. Probable cause hearing: June 8 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Floyd Leonard Smith, 32, of 1612 25th St., Manistee, was arrested May 19 by the Hart post of the Michigan State Police (MSP) for misdemeanors of operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC); operating while intoxicated; driving while license suspended (DWLS); and open intoxicants. Probable cause hearing: June 22 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

– Miles David-Isaiah Roberts, 23, of 7249 White Swan Lane. Ludington, was arrested May 19 by SSCENT for a misdemeanor of controlled substance – possession of marijuana. Probable cause hearing: June 8 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Jessie Curt Stickney, 36, of 815 E. Loomis St., Ludington, was arrested May 15 by MSP for a misdemeanor of improper transport of medical marijuana. Probable  cause hearing: June 8 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Jennifer Mary Ratcliffe, 23, of 332 S. Meyers Rd., Ludington, was arrested May 23 by SSCENT for a misdemeanor of controlled substance – possession of marijuana. Probable cause hearing: June 8 at 3 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Angel Renee Ghent, 18, of 2557 W. 68th St., Baldwin, was arrested May 22 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for a misdemeanor of third-degree retail fraud. Probable cause hearing: June 15 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

– Justin Allen Whitsell, 28, of 437 N .Bean, Scottville, was arrested May 23 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of assault and battery. Probable cause hearing: June 15 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
