Body dysmorphic disorder sufferer: 'My own reflection horrified me'

The world's only charity for sufferers of body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), where people have a distorted image of their appearance, is due to hold its first conference in London.

The condition can cause extreme anxiety, depression, and even lead to suicide.

Body dysmorphic disorder sufferer Minnie Wright has been telling the BBC's John Maguire about its impact on her life.

''For a long time I was too frightened to look into a mirror..the reflection was just too horrific,'' she said.
