Launched in 2003, the ELLE Decoration International Design Awards (or EDIDA to its friends) is a unique global event where the Editors-in-Chief of ELLE Decoration gather to award worldwide excellence in design across 15 categories.
After the success of last year’s digital ceremony, we have decided to invite you all to the event once again, with the winners revealed to everyone simultaneously and the awards available to view online. You all have an invite.
For the fourth year in a row, the official partner is MGallery and awards for Designer of the Year, Young Design Talent, Interior Designer of the Year, Furniture, Seating, Fabrics, Wallcovering, Tableware, Lighting, Bedding, Floorcovering, Kitchen, Bathroom, Outdoor and Sustainable Achievement will be presented by the Editors-in-Chief from the international editions. Past winners have included some of the greats of the design world, from Patricia Urquiola to British leading lights such as Lee Broom, Tom Dixon, Jasper Morrison and Doshi Levien.
Every edition of ELLE Decoration independently puts forwards its suggestions for each category – our nominations are taken from the annual ELLE Decoration British Design Awards. From this massive global shortlist, each Editor-in-Chief nominates their preferred winners, with the votes collated at our Paris headquarters and the winner announced, right here, right now…
