Six Senses CEO: 'It's about the experience you offer'

Outside the US, Asia has the largest share of the luxury hotel market. Its rapidly growing population and the rising numbers of middle classes means the sector is predicted to keep growing.

Six Senses, which has hotels in China, Thailand and Vietnam, is now adding to its portfolio by opening up in Europe. It is a turnaround in fortunes for the industry, which suffered a slowdown during the financial crisis.

Six Senses' chief executive Neil Jacobs told the BBC how his business had adapted after the economic downturn.
