On Wednesday, May 13, 2015, Quarry Springs opened its clubhouse doors to buyers, prospective homeowners, media and special guests to experience the many facets of the estate community’s exclusive clubhouse. Offering a library, grand salon and lounge that extend onto an outside terrace, which will soon overlook the pool, the Quarry Springs clubhouse also includes a lower level with fitness center featuring a yoga studio and spa, plus a steam room and sauna.
More than 150 guests attended the evening open house to take in the luxury clubhouse setting, preview the vast floor plans and finishes, as well as talk to representatives from TTR Sotheby’s International Realty, including David DeSantis, Christine Basso and Janie Kim, who are the sales agents for the new community. Larry Goodwin, John Fitzgerald and Ragy Darweesh of 1788 Holdings, the Quarry Springs developer, were also on hand to answer questions and discuss the progress of the 97 condominiums that average 3,100 square feet, with some as large as 4,500 square feet. As part of the festivities, Celebrity Chef Bryan Voltaggio signed his new cookbook, Home: Recipes to Cook with Family and Friends, while designers of the Quarry Springs model, Akseizer Design Group’s Jeff Akseizer and Jamie Brown, shared thoughts on their finishing touches. Visitors also enjoyed Range and Reef’s seafood boil and sirloin sliders, RSVP Catering’s desserts and drinks, and jazz by Joshua Bayer. Additional special guests included Maryland Delegate Marc Korman, Mervis Diamond Importers’ Ronnie Mervis, TPC Potomac’s Keith Steinberg, and firefighters from the neighboring Cabin John Park Volunteer Fire Department.
