Moravian sweeps CSI in softball, 5-0 and 7-4

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Moravian College improved to 26-4 with Saturday's 5-0 and 7-4 softball double-header sweep of visiting College of Staten Island.

Jenn Dalickas hit a three-run homer to cap a four-run sixth inning in the opener, while CSI managed just two singles off the bats of Christina Tufano and Danielle Locke.

The Dolphins (21-10) rallied from an early 3-0 deficit in the second contest as Tufano's two-run double capped a three-run third. The visitors took a 4-3 lead in the top of the fifth on Brittany Smith's RBI double, before the Greyhounds rallied for four runs in the bottom of the frame.

Movarian outhit CSI 19-6 on the day.

The Dolphins travel to FDU-Florham for a Sunday twin bill starting at noon.
