PAWTUCKET, R.I. —
Two men were held without bail on Wednesday, as they have been charged in connection with a Pawtucket murder.
Matthew Marcotte, 22, and Rolando Brooks, 22, of Taunton pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and conspiracy.
They allegedly took part in the beating and stabbing death of William McKenna in February. An investigation revealed that Brooks had punched McKenna before Marcotte fatally stabbed him.
McKenna was the younger brother of Supreme Court Justice Maureen McKenna Goldberg.
Marcotte has a bail hearing scheduled for May.
