Ocean State Job Lot donating more than 600,000 pounds of food

More than 600,000 of pounds of food donations are packed and ready to go to food banks across New England and New York.

The Ocean State Job Lot Headquarters in North Kingstown plans to ship out 630,000 pounds of food on Thursday. It was loaded onto a convoy of tractor trailer trucks.

Donations were made through the chain's Three Square Meals initiative.

It's a team effort between businesses, shoppers, and the Job Lot Charitable Foundation.
