After a strong run on NBC's "The Voice," Smithfield native Sarah Potenza didn't make it to the Top 12.
During a live results show Wednesday night, Potenza took her final bow from The Voice stage. Seven other contestants were also eliminated.
Potenza's coach was country singer Blake Shelton.
While viewers voted to advance Corey Kent White and Meghan Linsey, Shelton "saved" Hannah Kirby.
"This is the toughest decision we have to make as coaches because now we've developed a relationship," said Shelton, who noted how proud he is of Potenza and her team members. "I brought you to this point for a reason - because you deserve to be here."
Potenza, along with Brooke Adee, were eliminated.
