Sitting down all day at work poses a health risk

Office workers are putting their health at risk by spending too much of the day seated, according to a survey from the British Heart Foundation.

It found that the average person sat for almost all of the nine hours spent in the office.

Heart disease, type 2 diabetes, cancers and poor mental health have all been linked to sedentary behaviour.

Sophie Hutchinson reports.
