Rafael Correa indulta a un expolicía que quiso matarle en el intento golpista de 2010 | La Radio del Sur - Este martes, el Presidente ecuatoriano Rafael Correa ha indultado al expolicía Vinicio Carvajal, sentenciado a 12 años de cárcel después que fuera hallado culpable de intentar asesinar al presidente de Ecuador.

El mandatario ha suscrito el decreto oficial número 652, que además de ordenar la libertad de Carvajal especifica que el 18 de marzo de 2015 el delincuente expresó su arrepentimiento por las acciones realizadas y pidió disculpas a todas las partes perjudicadas por los acontecimientos violentos que en 2010 se cobraron la vida de al menos 10 personas y dejaron unos 300 heridos.

Vinicio Carvajal y otros cinco policías fueron condenados a prisión por la justicia ecuatoriana en agosto de 2014.
