Shiite militias have played a crucial role in regaining territory from the ISIS extremists group, supporting Iraq's embattled military and police forces.

Something that is important in Tikrit offensive is forming a coalition between Sunni tribal fighters and Shiites militia. But when Tikrit center of salahuddin and the province going to be fully liberated, some biased media talks of Shiites fighter’s violence against civilian.

At the beginning of this operation Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi called on his forces to protect civilians and their property in re-captured areas, vowing zero tolerance for any violations. He also called upon Sunnis who may have welcomed the initial onslaught or battled with the militants to give up their support for ISIS.

Iraq's top Shia cleric, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, has told army troops and volunteer fighters to protect civilians against ISIL Takfiri militants, regardless of their religion. Speaking through his representative in the holy city of Karbala, Ayatollah Sistani advised the security forces and volunteers to cooperate with the local people in the areas under ISIL control in order to liberate those regions.

Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalaie said Ayatollah Sistani forbade Iraqi fighters from hurting civilians or taking their belongings. The cleric also paid tribute to the Bu Nimr, a Sunni tribe. ISIL militants have killed scores of members of the tribe in retaliation for their decision to fight against the Takfiri terrorists. Ayatollah Sistani also advised Iraqis to work for national unity, which he said was the key to driving the ISIL terrorists out of Iraq.

Accusing Shiite fighters to violence against civilian, spreading in Saudi media when this country is first accused in supporting terrorism in Syria and Iraq.

Salman also helped recruit fighters for Abdul Rasul Sayyaf, an Afghan Salafist fighter who served as a mentor to both Osama bin Laden and 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

All of this support increase borderless violent in Iraq and Syria.

But in same side, Egypt which gets good relation after fall of Morsi and Muslim Brotherhood with Saudi, move in this direction.

Egypt's al-Azhar Institute in a recent statement claimed that the "Iraqi popular forces have killed a number of peaceful Iraqi citizens and violated their rights".

Deputy Head of Al-Anbar Provincial Council Faleh al-Issawi told FNA on Monday : "Al-Azhar is known for its moderate stances and fighting against radical thoughts, but its recent statement has been based on fake and misleading reports which has been given to the Egyptian religious institute by misled (Iraqi) politicians or religious scholars,"

Al-Issawi welcomed the presence of Iraqi popular forces in Al-Anbar province to purge the terrorists of the province, and said, "The fight against Takfiri terrorists in al-Anbar is a national battle."

On Saturday, the Iraqi Vice President Nuri al-Maliki called on al-Azhar to reconsider its stance towards Iraq's popular forces which are backing the Arab country's army in its fight against the ISIL terrorists.

Maliki said that al-Azhar statement was shocking and included serious accusations for the popular forces who include Shiite and Sunni fighters and represent a national unity in face of ISIL terrorism.
