Art center exhibit to celebrate Irish Heritage Month.

LUDINGTON — In celebration of National Irish Heritage Month, the Ludington Area Center for the Arts presents Emerald Expressions, a visual journey of Ireland by Rob and Becky Alway, March 6-28.

Rob and Becky Alway, owners of Alway Photography of Scottville, will share a collection of photographs they created during their 2011 trip to Ireland. Rob and Becky have a passion for the history, culture and landscape of Ireland and Emerald Expressions features a variety of photographs from all three of those topics.

The collection debuted at the center in 2012 and has since been featured in galleries in Grand Haven and Midland. While many of those images are back, the Always have also introduced new photographs into the collection as well.

The opening reception will take place on Friday, March 6 during the Downtown Ludington First Friday Art Walk from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, 107 S. Harrison St. The reception will feature live Irish music and light appetizers.
