Kevin de Bruyne could be coming back to the Premier League after spending a couple of months playing for Wolfsburg. The Belgian youngster, who had a hard time adapting to Chelsea’s playing style and especially to Mourinho’s managerial demands, is now targeted by Manchester City. According to the Daily Star, the 23 year old attacking midfielder has been so impressive since leaving Stamford Bridge that even Chelsea are considering transferring him back.

It is very unlikely to see the Belgian returning while Mourinho is still running things. It is very possible to see the youngster join City though, where Kompany could keep the 23 year old bad-boy in place. De Bruyne managed to showcase some amazing skills and impressed during the World Cup. Most said that if it weren’t for the Belgian skipper to look after the attacking midfielder, things would have gone a different way. With that in mind, the Citizens are now keeping a close eye on de Bruyne who seems to have left his bad attitude aside and looks to have started concentrating more on what is important.

It is still to be seen if City are going to actually make an offer for de Bruyne whose market value is hard to determine given his fluctuations in form and also the many rumors which surrounded his departure from Stamford Bridge. It would be hard for any team to bring in the Belgian after Wolfsburg seem to have started to build a team for the Champions League which also includes Schurrle and could incorporate players like Dzeko sometime in the near future.
