Arraignments include gun, drug charges

LUDINGTON — The following were arraigned this week in front of the 79th District Court magistrate:

Felonies

Tyra

– Arthur Warner Tyra, Jr., 45, of 1056 N. Rd., Fountain, was arrested Feb. 24 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for felonies of receiving and concealing firearms; felony firearms; and habitual offender, fourth conviction. Probable cause hearing: March 11 at 1:15 p.m. Preliminary exam: March 18 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $25,000/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

Pena

– Andrea Benet Pena, 34, of 909 S. Washington, Ludington, was arrested March 3 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) for a felony of possession of analogues. Probable cause hearing: March 11 at 1:15 p.m. Preliminary exam: March 18 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/cash/surety. She was also arrested March 3 by LPD for misdemeanors of third-degree retail fraud and prohibited use of chemical agents. Pretrial: March 30 at 10:30 a.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

King

– Daniel Leon King, 32, of 503 N. State St., Hart, was arrested March by LPD for a felony of possession of analogues as well as charges of possession of marijuana and habitual offender, second offense. Probable cause hearing: March 11 at 1 p.m. Preliminary exam: March 18 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

McCrath

– Michael Paul McCrath, 59, of 801 E. Filer St., Ludington, was arrested Feb. 28 by MCSO for a felony of controlled substance, possession of narcotics less than 25 grams, second offense, and a charge of possession of marijuana. Probable cause hearing: March 11 at 1:15 p.m. Preliminary exam: March 18 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

Misdemeanors

– Scott Martin Stillson, 43, of 201 E. Fifth St., Scottville, was arrested Feb. 27 by the Scottville Police Department (SPD) for misdemeanors of stalking and malicious use of telecommunications. Pretrial: March 23 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/personal.

– Steven Charles Inger, 26, of 1404 Garfield Ave., NW, Grand Rapids, was arrested Feb. 27 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of improper transport of medical marijuana in a vehicle. Pretrial: March 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Carlton Kurt Brower, 53, of 2131 W. US-10, Ludington, was arrested Feb. 28 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: March 30 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Jeffrey Albert Sharpe, 40, of 1386 Maxwell Rd., Petoskey, was arrested Feb. 27 by MCSO for a misdemeanor of second-offense DWLS. Pretrial: March 23 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $3,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.

– Lamott Dionne Reed, 52, of 85 E. Albany Ave., Idlewild, was arrested Feb. 20 by the Michigan State Police for a misdemeanor of second-offense DWLS. Pretrial: March 30 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/cash/surety/10 percent cash.
