Wenger is known for signing and investing in some of Europe’s best youngsters. Recently the club has not been producing as many talents as it did before which in turn means more transfers are being brought in to the place. According to TalkSport, the latest name to make the list for the summer is Daniele Baselli. The 22 year old who is under contract with Atalanta until 2018, has been having the best season of his career and will be looking to get a shot at playing for a big club next year.

Arsenal had been keeping the move a secret for a couple of months when rumors started emerging. Unfortunately for the Gunners, they will have to sort things out quickly as Milan is now leading for signing Baselli. The Italian giants have the upper hand and have already admitted publically that they are interested in the 22 year old. It would also be a whole lot easier for him to join the team from Milano rather than to move all the way to the UK. Adaptability would be an issue for Baselli who would get a lot of support if he remains in Serie A. It is very unlikely to see the midfielder at the Emirates anytime soon considering the fact that Atalanta’s management looks particularly keen on making a deal with Adriano Galliani.
