Libyan Air Forces in cooperation with the Egyptian Army launched airstrikes on allegedly havens of the ISIS group havens in the port city of Derna in eastern Libya, killing around 50 militants Libyan Air Forces Leader Sakr al-Geushy told Youm7 Monday.
The Armed Forces launched “concentrated airstrikes” targeting ISIS group and its weapons stores in Libya, it announced in a Monday morning statement, Cairo post reports.
The announcement follows the Sunday release of a video showing the mass beheading of 21 Egyptian Copts who had been kidnapped in early January.
