Deputies help lost couple

VICTORY TWP. — Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a suspicious situation Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 3:30 a.m.  in the 3600 block of West Fountain Road where a couple walking from Hamlin Township to Manistee became lost and called 911 looking for directions. Deputies found the couple and gave them a ride to Manistee.

– 10:04 a.m., assist to Probation/Parole agents, 100 block of N. Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Twp.

– 5:30 p.m., assist to Probation/Parole agents, 7100 block of Stolberg Rd., Sheridan Twp., a 34-year-old Fountain man was arrested on a parole detainer.

– 7:28 p.m., car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10-31 and Stiles Rd., Amber Twp.

– 8:44 p.m., gas drive-off, $9.05 in fuel taken, 5600 block of W. US-10 at Wesco East Gate, PM Twp.
