New project will bring 135 townhomes to Old East Dallas

EKO Construction is building the first of 135 townhouses in East Dallas off Bryan Street.

Developers are breaking ground in East Dallas on a new residential community planned with 135 homes.

EKO Construction is building the project called Bryan Heights on Grigsby Avenue near Bryan Street.

The townhouse development will include 135 homes priced from $359,000 to $379,000.

The first phase will include 41 homes with 1,500 to 1,600 square feet.

The Collective Residential, a property brokerage firm, is marketing the project.

"Bryan Heights is already acting as a catalyst for the renewal and rapid change that is taking place in East Dallas," Jonathan Rosen, CEO of The Collective Residential, said in a statement. "The project has all the luxury amenities our clients seek, and the contemporary design features are fresh and reflective of the best aspects of upscale urban design."

The townhouse project is one of the larger of dozens of new high-density housing projects under construction in East Dallas.

Along with the townhomes, almost 2,000 new apartments are being built in East Dallas.
