"Remember that one time Portia and I called because it was very secretive. It was like, 'There may be a thing this weekend, we'll let you know where it is and what' and we were like, 'Oh, should we make it?' " Ellen DeGeneres said to Jennifer Aniston when she stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, People magazine reports.

"She's always like: 'Do we need to?' And I'm like 'No, but I want you to!' " Aniston replied.

"I am your friend and I know a lot about you, but if I weren't your friend, I have to discuss the crazy constant rumors of the wedding," DeGeneres said earlier.

"I know that I'll know when the wedding is, but sometimes, because it is so secretive, when we're invited [over] we're like 'I'm not in town....but should we be in town?'" she continued.

Jennifer Aniston added that Ellen and Portia weren't the only couple to think her wedding to Justin Theroux could happen at any moment. She told a story about Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher on the Fourth of July: "They would show up in beautiful wedding wear," Aniston said. "Even the 4th of July last year, they showed up and Sacha was in a powder blue suit and Isla was in a little cute dress. And we were like, 'Guys, it's the 4th of July. We're in cutoffs and eating hot dogs. We will actually let you know!' "

The 45-year-old actress revealed the speculation gets even worse around the holidays.

"For Thanksgiving, a friend of mine said, 'I can't come this year, but should I?'" she said.
