Company honored for product excellence in Best in Biz Awards two years in a row

San Diego, CA – November 29, 2017 – Seismic, the leading global marketing and sales enablement solution, has been named a silver winner in the Best New Product Feature—Enterprise and SMB category in the Best in Biz Awards, the only independent business awards program judged each year by prominent editors and reporters from top-tier publications in North America.

This category judged new product features introduced to market after January 1, 2016, and Seismic was honored for Seismic WorkSpace. Seismic WorkSpace offers robust content collaboration capabilities for sales and marketing teams working together on important opportunities. Features include the ability to review and provide feedback on documents and presentations via comments and content mark-up, and video annotation, allowing team members to provide frame-by-frame commentary and presentation coaching. Via Seismic’s mobile apps and offline sync, team members have access to materials wherever they are and regardless of internet connectivity.

Last month, Seismic announced a significant update to WorkSpace through the platform’s Salesforce integration. WorkSpace can now be powered by Salesforce opportunity data, automatically creating content folders and bringing in the right people to add new layers of intelligence and efficiency to marketing and sales content collaboration and collection.

“We are proud to have won a Best in Biz Award for the second consecutive year,” said Doug Winter, Seismic co-founder and CEO. “We strive to consistently lead the way in offering the most powerful marketing and sales enablement solution available, one that offers true value to customers, and we are honored to be consistently recognized for our efforts.”

The Best in Biz Awards is the latest in a string of prestigious industry awards programs that have recognized WorkSpace’s capabilities in increasing the productivity and effectiveness of sales teams. Thus far in 2017, Seismic WorkSpace has also won a Gold Stevie® Award for Best Collaboration Solution, was named Best Document Management Tool in the 2017 WealthManagement.com Industry Awards, and was a finalist for Best B2B Productivity Tool in the 2017 MITX Awards.

Each year, Best in Biz Awards’ entrants span the spectrum, from some of the most innovative local start-ups to the most recognizable global brands. The seventh annual program was particularly hotly contested, with more than 650 entries from an impressive array of public and private companies of all sizes and from a variety of industries and geographic regions in the U.S. and Canada.

Since 2011, winners of Best in Biz Awards have been determined based on scoring from independent judging panels composed of prominent editors and reporters from some of the most respected newspapers, TV outlets, and business, consumer, technology and trade publications in North America. Best in Biz Awards’ uniqueness stems, in part, from this distinct composition of its judging panels, allowing it to best leverage the judges’ unparalleled expertise, experience and objectivity to determine award winners. The 2017 judging panel included: Accounting Today, AdWeek, Associated Press, Atlanta Tribune, Business News Daily, Consumer Affairs, Entrepreneur, eWeek, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Healthcare Innovation News, Inc., Investment Advisor Magazine, Laptop, MediaPost, Pittsburgh Business Times, Security Products Magazine, Wired, WLRN and Yahoo Tech.

“Reviewing this year’s entries in Best in Biz Awards was like going to an NBA All-Star game — you end up shaking your head in admiration, smiling and saying, ‘Oh man, that’s gooood,’” said Dale Dauten, King Features Syndicate, returning to judge the awards for the sixth year. “And then the next one is even better. It’s a top-that competition.”
