Kiel: Antifa-Café "Der Aufstand jüdischer Gefangener im Vernichtungslager Sobibór", Alte Meierei - Autonome Antifa-Koordination Kiel: Am 14. Oktober 1943 kam es zu einem geplanten Aufstand innerhalb des Vernichtungslagers, bei dem mit zwei Ausnahmen alle im Lager anwesenden SS-Offiziere getötet wurden und ca. 300 Häftlinge aus dem Lager fliehen konnten. Die meisten kamen im rund um das Lager angelegten Minengürtel ums Leben, wurden bei folgenden Razzien der Deutschen gefasst, von der einheimische Bevölkerung denunziert oder von polnischen oder ukrainischen nationalistischen Partisanen ermordet. Etwa 60 Aufständische erlebten jedoch das Ende des Kriegs. Der Aufstand der Juden in Sobibór ist eines der eindringlichsten Beispiele gegen die These, Juden hätten sich wie Lämmer zur Schlachtbank führen lassen.

On 14 October 1943 there was a planned uprising in the extermination camp, in which, with two exceptions, all present in the camp SS officers were killed and about 300 inmates escaped from the camp. Most were in the applied around the camp minefield killed, were taken at the following raids by the Germans denounced by the local population or murdered by Polish or Ukrainian nationalist partisans. However, about 60 insurgents saw the end of the war. The revolt of the Jews in Sobibor is one of the most memorable examples against the thesis that Jews have can be like lambs to the slaughter.
