Unfortunately Indianapolis Colts safety LaRon Landry is about to take an NFL-mandated vacation, suspended without pay for the next four games for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Landry, 29, is eligible to return to the Colts’ active roster on Monday, Oct. 27, following the team’s Week 8 game against Pittsburgh. The Colts have a bye in Week 9. The eight-year

veteran out of LSU had totaled 23 tackles in four games this season.

The ironic twist is that Landry’s suspension came on the day that linebacker Robert Mathis, who was suspended four games for taking PEDs, was eligible to return to the team’s facility but unfortunately he’s out for the season with a torn achilles he suffered while training in Atlanta.
